EDF Energy asks Likemind for Careers advice

Likemind has been appointed by EDF Energy to develop a revised Global Careers section for edfenergy.com. The site aims to promote EDF Energy as an employee of choice. It is vital EDF Energy attracts the best candidates, particularly in niche areas - specialists in engineering, nuclear and energy (some of whom may be international) and becomes a compelling prospect for future talent such as graduates, apprentices and interns. Robert Beattie, Project Manager says "How will we do this? By integrating new and compelling applications and modules. These will include an HR job search application and “Match Me” tool – a great way for the user to match themselves with suitable positions based on clear, set criteria.

There will also be 'A Day in the Life' - a selection of stories, outlining a day in the life of several employees around the business, and '10 reasons to join EDF Energy.' "We are using film to bring to life the great stories people have of working with EDF Energy. We went out and interviewed 20-30 people about their careers and the great projects they're working on - some of the biggest and best in Britain. The films will be on this part of the site - and elsewhere. Who better to tell you what life is like at EDF Energy than the people who are doing it themselves?"
