Brief
Part of the Shell Group, Shell Chemicals is one of the world’s largest Petrochemicals companies. In a company-wide upgrade, the Shell Chemicals website needed to be integrated with the same CMS platform and front-end design templates as the new Shell.com site.
Response
Firstly, we undertook some initial research to understand the needs of Shell Chemicals’ target audience. The site is mainly B2B focused and acts as an important source of information for companies purchasing chemicals products for use in the production of many household items. As part of a long-term relationship we are helping Shell Chemicals to deliver their three year digital strategy, which includes the development of new content, functionality and design elements, with greater emphasis on the use of video and interactivity. We are helping users to find useful information quickly from any point within the site, whilst conforming to the design guidelines of Shell.com.
